Ellis Hollow Pool

The community swimming pool operates from June through Labor Day. It is located right next to the Community Center on Genung Rd. An annual membership is required to use the pool. Memberships can be purchased by filling out the form published in the Ellis Hollow Gazette each spring or by downloading the form from this web site. Memberships are available to non-residents at the same annual rate as they are to residents.

Swimming lessons are held on weekday mornings. The pool is open for general swimming afternoons and evenings. The L-shaped pool was built in 1972, financed with money from the long range development funds, loans secured by community property, and capital contributions from individual residents. Seventy-one families donated $19,650to make a long time dream a reality.
